la neige!

we had snow again last night!!! it was so gorgeous- i walked out of creative writing at 4 and it was flurrying, and then drove to work at 4:30 and it snowed pretty much the entire time. so very pretty!!!

i got back the comments on my story from my professor and he didn't have anything bad to say at all! i was really really happy.

and work was spectacular! i had so much fun, and really enjoyed the whole time i was there. it was great.

directly after 5 hours of non-stop standing i went and stood at the sigma chi basketball game. it was very exciting and they ended up winning after 2 or 3 overtimes.

directly after THAT was movie night at vandergriffs! i FINALLY got to eat dinner (wendy's, mmmm) and we watched the red violin. excellent movie. excellent.

today has been ok. american lit was booooooooring. then i had french club meeting, with FREE subway sandwiches and fun times, and then joanna and i went to walgreens for an experiement of sorts and then wasted a whole meal for ice cream in the caf. it ended up being a lot of fun though... we ran into my friend robert, a sigma chi, and he ate with us, and then patrick, another english major, ate with us too, so it was a nice little random group of 4 that was very fun, all told. i gave patrick a ride to his dorm, said bye to joanna who had class, went to the gym, and now i'm just chilling before i do some laundry, eat dinner out with erin, and then go to (get this) one of the english prof's rock band's concert. it should be a gas.

anyways. things are going alright. i actually met a guy at work last night, and whether or not he's a long-term guy, he seems nice and he was a pike here, so maybe i can gain a new set of friends too. i think work will be very good for me. my friend josh (pierre) who's in my french class, is a cook there, and he's a lot of fun. and my friend shaina is a server, and another girl from my french class is a server there too.

i'm going to make it. 22 days until spring break!!!
